Pressure. We're all under pressure. In fact, we're under a lot of pressure! The atmosphere is pushing us at about 14 pounds per square inch.

What? That doesn't seem like much? Okay, take a single die (one dice) and place it on your stomach. Now place a 14 pound bowling ball on that single die. That's 14 pounds per square inch.

NOV 3        MURPHY'S AND REICH'S LAWS

Murphy's Law: Anything that CAN go wrong, WILL go wrong.

Let's talk about this. Most people take Murphy's Law too lightly. They see it as a sort of humorous expression about failure. But it's a lot more serious than that. So let's look at the physics behind Murphy's Law and then I'll introduce you to Reich's Law of Success.

NOV 1        UNCERTAINTY

Heisenberg. Uncertainty. Quantum physics. Particles.

Well, what's it mean?

When you get down to the smallest stuff, particles like electrons, it gets pretty hard to figure out where the darn things are. It's hard to figure out how fast they're going too.

Here's where it gets weird. The more you know about where an electron is, the less you know about it's momentum or velocity. And if you can figure out its velocity, you won't know where ...
